I was in Real Estate for a number of years and hired and watched a number of kitchen renovations. After retiring, we downsized to a side by side Duplex. With only 5 upper kitchen cabinets and 3 lower drawers we wanted to extend our kitchen cabinets and drawers along the same wall. We also wanted to replace a chipped quartz countertop around the sink and add a new quartz countertop on the extended installation of lower drawers.

On a “Sunday” I emailed a number of cabinet manufacturers/installers with the information. To my surprise, I was immediately phoned by Jaswinder Kainth, owner of Kitchencabinetssurrey.ca. who was working in his shop. I also saw that he on his website had a dozen recent client reviews who rated him very highly. His competitors had none or very few reviews.

He came over the next day and listened to what my wife and I wanted. Because we are in a strata, they required the information about what we requested. Jaswinder, better known as Jas, supplied all the information on our behalf and drew a detailed diagram of the intended cabinets and drawers as well as the exact measurements. The new cabinets and drawers were approximately 9 feet long and two floating shelfs were 2 feet long. I’ve tried to attach a photo, 773×55 but it seems to large so would not take.

The installation was done by his team who were very professional and fast. The manufacturing and installation was done within the prescribed time and at a very reasonable cost. Although the original cabinets here were melanin, Jas manufactured the 6 matching upper cabinets in 5 ply plywood which was much superior to what we had. The nine new lower drawers were also of the superior quality.

Jas has an eye for perfection. When everything was finished and we were very satisfied with the work, he found one drawer that wasn’t closing the last 1/2 inch by itself as the other 8 drawers did. He actually took out one slider, came back the next day with a new one and installed it. Then like the rest of the drawers, this one also closed the last 1/2 inch by itself. He was now satisfied. I haven’t recommended kitchen renovators in the past since I’ve never really found anyone exceptional. But Jaswinder Kainth is that exception. I would hire him and his team again for any type of renovation and would be happy to recommend him to anyone.
